Description
CJC-1295 without DAC, also known as Modified GRF (1-29), is a synthetic peptide analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). This compound is a truncated version of the full GHRH protein, consisting of the first 29 amino acids. Its primary mechanism of action involves binding to and stimulating the GHRH receptors located in the anterior pituitary gland. This stimulation promotes the natural, pulsatile release of growth hormone (GH) into the bloodstream. Unlike its counterpart with the Drug Affinity Complex (DAC), CJC-1295 without DAC has a shorter half-life, resulting in a more physiological pattern of GH secretion.
Key areas of research for CJC-1295 without DAC include its potential to enhance protein synthesis, promote muscle growth and repair, and accelerate wound healing. Studies have also investigated its role in strengthening bone density, increasing lipolysis (fat burning), and improving overall metabolic function. Researchers are particularly interested in its potential to counteract the age-related decline in GH and insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) levels, which are associated with changes in body composition, such as decreased lean body mass and increased adiposity.
